Granola

Granola

This is the way we like to eat our granola with yogurt and fresh berries!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ cup honey
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 5 cups Old Fashioned oats
  • 1 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup flaked coconut

Instructions

Preheat oven to 325*. Place a piece of parchment paper on a cookie sheet.

In a large bowl, add the oil, honey, brown sugar vanilla and salt. Whisk until the sugar is dissolved. Add in the oats, almonds, cranberries and coconut. Stir until all are incorporated.

Spread on a cookie sheet and bake for 30 minutes. Turn about halfway thru to insure even baking.

Cool and break into chunks. Store in an air- tight container.
