MAPLE SALAD DRESSING
MACARONI SALAD
This is not your typical salad. It is on the sweet side but oh, so good. The recipe came from my dad's recipe file. Since her is no longer with us, we don't know where he got it.
SWEET AND SOUR PORK
This a great recipe for using leftover pork. Although, if you want to use a fresh pork butt or country style ribs; your can put it in a crock pot for 8-10 hours.
EASY CORN BREAD
I use the recipe off the Quaker Corn Meal container. It's the best I have found. I sometimes add shredded cheddar cheese and/or jalapeno peppers.
Chicken and Butternut Squash
Spaghetti Sauce
I’m not sure where this recipe came from. I remember my mother always made it. It’s quick and easy and freezes well.
BOLOGNESE
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef until no longer pink. Remove from pan. Add the olive oil along with the onions and garlic. Cook until onions are soft. Next add the carrots and celery cook until celery is soft. Return the ground beef to the pan and add the parsley, tomatoes, salt, pepper and Romano cheese.
Sprinkle with more cheese if you like.
Giant Stuffed Shells
This recipe came from a neighbor of mine when I lived in Maryland. It’s a great church potluck recipe since it will serve at least 6 people. NOTE: This dish can be made ahead but allow more baking time. ENJOY!
Potato Soup
This has got to be one of the quickest and delicious soups I have ever made. The ingredients are simple and all ingredients are already in your pantry.
