Green Salad

Let’s talk salads. This is where you can be as creative as you want. Anything goes!

We love the “kitchen sink” approach to salads. This is the green salad I normally make for dinner.


  • Romain Lettuce
  • Cherry Tomatoes
  • Sliced Seedless Cucumbers
  • Shredded Carrots
  • Diced Cooked Bacon
  • Diced Hard Cooked Eggs
  • Dried Cranberries
  • Cheese (Feta, Blue, or Gorgonzola)
  • Sunflower Seeds


I start with a bed of Romaine lettuce. This is a hearty leaf and stays crisp for a long time.

Next I add whatever I have in the fridge: cherry tomatoes cut in half, sliced seedless cucumbers, shredded carrots, diced cooked bacon, diced hard cooked eggs, dried cranberries, feta cheese or blue, gorgonzola and sunflower seeds.
